Network Security Auditor

Role Summary:
Conduct comprehensive network security audits and VAPT of the client's IT and network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform network VAPT, traffic-flow analysis, security configuration and firewall/network-device auditing, and access-control testing
• Review network architecture vs. approved design; identify attack paths, misconfigurations, missing patches, and insecure services
• Conduct risk assessment, vulnerability prioritization, impact analysis, and provide practical remediation recommendations
• Review user/privileged access, authentication, firewall rules, and network access controls
• Evaluate the organization's BCP, DR, and Incident Response Plan; identify gaps and recommend improvements
• Manage the full audit lifecycle: planning, evidence collection, assessment, validation, reporting, remediation tracking, revalidation, and closure
• Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical teams and management

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of network security, TCP/IP, routing/switching, VLAN, VPN, firewall, IDS/IPS, DMZ, and network segmentation
• Hands-on experience with Nmap, Nessus/Tenable, Qualys, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit
• Familiarity with OWASP, CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, and CERT-In guidelines and IoT devices.

Qualifications:

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or equivalent
• Relevant certification: CEH, OSCP, CSTA, or CompTIA Security+
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills; able to work independently onsite.
