Network Security Engineer

Job Overview

K-Soft Company W.L.L. is looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the implementation, configuration, migration, troubleshooting, and support of enterprise network and security solutions.

The candidate will work with leading security and application delivery technologies, including F5, Fortinet, Broadcom Proxy, and Netskope SASE, and will be responsible for delivering implementation and technical support services to enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network security and application delivery solutions.
• Provide implementation and technical support for F5 solutions, including LTM, WAF, APM, DNS, SSL/TLS, iRules, load balancing, and related technologies.
• Implement and support FortiGate Firewall solutions, including security policies, NAT, routing, VPN, HA, authentication, and security profiles.
• Implement and support FortiWeb WAF solutions, including application protection policies, SSL inspection, security profiles, virtual servers, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and support FortiADC solutions, including load balancing, virtual servers, server pools, health checks, SSL offloading, and application delivery.
• Implement and support FortiMail solutions, including email security policies, SMTP routing, anti-spam, filtering, authentication, and troubleshooting.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Broadcom Proxy solutions, including ProxySG, Management Center, policy configuration, authentication, SSL interception, reporting, and migration activities.
• Implement and support Netskope SASE solutions, including SWG, CASB, ZTNA/NPA, DLP, RBI, FWaaS, Netskope Client, traffic steering, security policies, and troubleshooting.
• Perform solution migrations, upgrades, firmware updates, configuration changes, and technology refresh activities.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Analyze network traffic, logs, security events, and application behavior to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Work with customers to understand technical requirements and provide appropriate security and network solutions.
• Coordinate with OEM/vendor technical support teams for complex technical issues and escalations.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation plans, migration plans, configuration documents, and project reports.
• Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, solution design, and implementation activities.
• Ensure implementations follow security best practices, vendor recommendations, and customer requirements.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support for enterprise network security environments.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging network security, SASE, WAF, firewall, proxy, and application delivery technologies.

Technical Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Experience in Network Security, Network Infrastructure, and Enterprise Security Solutions.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:
• F5 BIG-IP – LTM, WAF/ASM, APM, DNS, iRules
• Fortinet – FortiGate, FortiWeb, FortiADC, FortiMail
• Broadcom – ProxySG, Management Center, Reporter and related proxy technologies
• Netskope – SASE, SWG, CASB, ZTNA/NPA, DLP, RBI, FWaaS
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, VPN, DNS, DHCP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, and network security concepts.
• Experience with firewall security policies, NAT, VPN, routing, authentication, and traffic troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of load balancing, reverse proxy, WAF, proxy, and application security concepts.
• Experience with solution implementation, migration, upgrades, and production support.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact with customers, vendors, and internal technical teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a technical project team.
• Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE/FCF/FCA/FCP, F5 certifications, CCNA/CCNP, or other security certifications will be an advantage.
• Experience working in enterprise customer environments is preferred.
