Network Security Engineer - (Fortinet & Palo Alto)

• 12 month ongoing contract to start ASAP
• Work across Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls
• Must be Aus Citizen to apply

This position will focus on implementing, supporting and improving network security solutions across Fortinet and Palo Alto platforms.
You will work closely with infrastructure, cloud and cyber security teams to maintain secure, reliable and highly available network services.

Skills and Experience

• Strong experience as a Network Security Engineer within an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet and Palo Alto security technologies.
• Experience with FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer or Palo Alto Panorama is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DNS and network segmentation.
• Experience supporting IPsec and SSL VPN environments.
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS, application control, URL filtering and threat protection.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Relevant Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco or cyber security certifications are advantageous.
