Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Network Security Engineer - F5 with 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network security solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in F5 BIG-IP technologies, load balancing, application delivery, web application security, and network infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support F5 BIG-IP solutions including LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM/AWAF, APM, and AFM.
• Manage and optimize load balancing, SSL offloading, traffic management, and application delivery services.
• Configure and troubleshoot F5 virtual servers, pools, iRules, profiles, and health monitors.
• Implement Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies and security controls using F5 ASM/AWAF.
• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and security hardening of F5 infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Monitor, analyze, and resolve network and application performance issues.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams for deployments and migrations.
• Manage SSL certificate lifecycle, DNS integration, and authentication services.
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and problem management.
• Prepare operational documentation, SOPs, and knowledge transfer materials.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Network Security and Application Delivery.

• Strong expertise in:

• F5 BIG-IP LTM (Local Traffic Manager)

• F5 DNS/GTM

• F5 ASM / AWAF

• F5 APM

• F5 AFM

• Experience with iRules, Traffic Policies, SSL/TLS, and Load Balancing algorithms.

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Routing, Switching, NAT, and VPN technologies.

• Experience in troubleshooting application delivery and network security issues.

• Knowledge of network monitoring and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and Splunk.

• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Exposure to automation tools like Ansible, Python, Terraform, and REST APIs.

• Experience with Citrix ADC (Netscaler), Palo Alto, Check Point, or Fortinet solutions.

• Knowledge of Zero Trust security architecture and modern WAF solutions.

• F5 certifications such as:

• F5-CA (Administrator)

• F5-CTS (Technical Specialist)

• F5-CSE (Solution Expert)

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related discipline.
• Relevant F5 and Network Security certifications preferred.
