Role Purpose

The Network Specialist will be responsible for managing, supporting, and maintaining the organizations global network infrastructure. The role ensures secure, stable, and high-performance connectivity across enterprise environments, including LAN, WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, and cloud-connected systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN)
• Configure and maintain routing and switching environments
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network security devices and firewalls
• Support SD-WAN deployment and operations
• Perform network monitoring, maintenance, and performance optimization
• Handle incident management, change requests, and service requests
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution
• Ensure network availability, security compliance, and documentation
• Support global network connectivity and remote site infrastructure
• Participate in network migration and upgrade projects

Technical Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of routing and switching concepts
• Hands-on experience with Cisco network devices
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies
• Firewall configuration experience (e.g., Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet)
• Knowledge of VLAN, VPN, NAT, ACL
• Experience with routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
• Exposure to wireless networking technologies
• Understanding of network security best practices

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud networking environments
• Exposure to data center networking
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools
• Certification such as CCNA / CCNP preferred

Educational Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics / Networking or related field

Soft Skills Required

• Strong troubleshooting ability
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a global support environment
• Documentation and process-oriented approach
