Network Support Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Provide technical support for network infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Monitor network performance using various tools such as SNMP traps and log files to identify potential issues before they impact users.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex technical problems that require coordination across multiple systems or departments.
• Develop documentation for internal use by the IT team on how to troubleshoot common network issues.

Job Requirements :

• 1-3 years of experience in network engineering or support role.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing and switching technologies (e.g., Ethernet).
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SNMP agents and logging software.
• Knowledge of basic operating system administration tasks such as installing software updates and managing user accounts.
