JOB OVERVIEW

BridgeView is seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer for a contract opportunity supporting complex, ultra-low-latency network infrastructure. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting high-performance networking solutions across financial trading environments, including market exchanges and colocation facilities. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in multi-vendor networking, incident management, and resilient infrastructure design. This individual will collaborate with regional operations teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with global standards and client requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and deliver network infrastructure solutions aligned with global standards, hardware blueprints, and client requirements.
• Develop technical design documentation, operational procedures, and support processes.
• Provide third-level technical support for complex network incidents, vulnerabilities, and infrastructure issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and produce post-incident and problem management reports.
• Execute complex network installations, configurations, upgrades, and implementations across client environments.
• Engineer and maintain ultra-low-latency networking environments supporting financial market exchanges and colocation facilities.
• Collaborate with Regional Operations teams to ensure network designs meet requirements for resiliency, scalability, and future growth.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, multicast, and market data distribution issues to maintain network performance and availability.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Significant hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise and low-latency network infrastructure.
• Strong expertise with Cisco and Arista routing and switching technologies .
• Experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Juniper and Palo Alto firewalls .
• Practical experience supporting F5 GTM/LTM load-balancing technologies.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining ultra-low-latency environments within financial trading, market exchange, or colocation facilities.
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, tunneling, switching, and network device management .
• Experience with multicast networking, market data distribution networks, and associated recovery mechanisms.
• Proven ability to resolve complex network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Experience producing technical documentation, infrastructure designs, and operational procedures.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into resilient technical solutions.
