We have a big year planned for growth and we have a new opportunity for a PIA Surveyor / Network Surveyor working within our Operational Solutions team based in Cork

The Role

As a PIA Surveyor/ Network Surveyor you will have good knowledge and understanding of Fibre Builds and Architecture as you will be performing detailed PIA verification surveys. This is a busy role that does require travel and someone who is committed to delivering an outstanding service to our clients. This is a role that will require you to be out and about Cork area. You will be required to:

• Validate chambers, poles, duct routes on site and identify issues and required work around if necessary.
• Utilise tablet with client GIS software for the survey and any required alterations.
• Existing chamber assessments (location, type, conditions).
• Existing pole assessments (location, type, conditions).
• Existing duct assessments (available space, conditions)

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who will be able to hit the ground running in this role and be working within the same or similar position already with the correct accreditation. You will ideally have strong knowledge working in the role and PIA Network surveying experience.

You must have good communication skills, be committed and passion for the industry. Other skills also desired include:

• Ideally have a clean Manual DL and be able to drive a van or have your transport
• Irish CSCS Operating Card
• Safe Pass - Construction worker card
• Knowledge of or experience working in the Openrach network.
• Valid SA001, SA002, NRSWA Unit 2, Sign and Guarding.
• S5 and S6 Accreditation would be desirable but not essential.
• Ability to use a smartphone, a tablet or a laptop with a Geographical Information System (GIS).
• Work outdoors in chambers and challenging field environments. For example, in bad weather conditions.
• Attention to detail.
• High levels of quality standards.
• Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF write

Pay: €250.00-€300.00 per day
