Network Technician

Job Summary

Common Angle, a growing managed IT services provider, is seeking an Network Technician to support its team in Petoskey, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional with prior MSP experience who enjoys solving technical problems and delivering outstanding customer support. In this role, you'll provide technical support, assist with hardware deployments, support a variety of verticals, troubleshoot systems and networks, and work alongside an experienced team in a collaborative, growth-focused environment.

Network Technician Responsibilities

• Resolve support incidents & implementation requests in a timely manner
• Provide remote support for end users
• Deliver on-site support, including new hardware installations
• Troubleshoot Windows, MacOS, mobile devices, printers/scanners, and network connectivity issues–assigned according to experience
• Assist with infrastructure implementations and day-to-day technical operations
• Create and maintain accurate technical documentation with strong attention to detail
• Participate in the on-call rotation and assist with after-hours emergency support as needed
• Provide work estimates and solution recommendations (Based on areas of expertise.)

Network Technician Qualifications

• 1+ years of network support or help desk support experience with an MSP required
• Strong Windows desktop, server, and Microsoft 365 support skills required
• Familiarity with business-grade networking hardware (firewalls, switches, wireless access points).
• Must have or be willing to obtain your CompTIA Network+ (Net+) certification
• Must be willing to work on-site

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
