Networking, ELV Systems & Technical Support Trainee

Baker & Grey invites applications for three Networking, ELV Systems & Technical Support Trainee positions. This is a hands-on opportunity for candidates with a sound technical foundation who want to develop their skills through practical experience with real-world technology systems.

What You'll Work On

• Networking: Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IP-based devices, routers, switches, firewalls, and related networking equipment.
• ELV Systems: Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control, audio-video solutions, communication systems, alarm systems, and related ELV technologies.
• System Design: Equipment selection, floor-plan interpretation, system layouts, and basic Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation.
• Technical Support: Fault diagnosis, practical problem-solving, and technical documentation.

Who Can Apply?

• Diploma or degree holders in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

Prerequisites:

• Candidates must have a sound existing knowledge of electronics and electrical fundamentals, including voltage, current, basic electrical connections, electronic components, and the safe and correct use of a multimeter.
• Candidates must have basic computer hardware and software knowledge, including operating system installation, software configuration, PC hardware maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Candidates should have a strong interest in technology, logical thinking, practical problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn independently.

Important: This is not a classroom-based training programme. Candidates are expected to possess the fundamental knowledge required for the role and develop further skills through practical assignments, independent learning, and guidance from experienced professionals.

Programme Details

• Duration: 3 months
• Stipend: Provided throughout the programme
• Learning Approach: Hands-on experience, supervised technical assignments, and mentoring
• Career Opportunity: The best-performing candidate(s) may be offered permanent employment based on technical competence, responsibility, learning ability, and business requirements.

Permanent employment is not guaranteed upon completion of the programme.

Job Details

Location: Ernakulam, Kerala

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:15 PM

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
