Neurodiagnostic Technician

Role Overview: Assists in performing electroencephalogram (EEG) tests to monitor brain activity, ensuring accurate recording and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain digital EEG equipment, ensuring safety and proper functionality.
• Assist with electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies.
• Document patient care and equipment conditions accurately and timely.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and adhere to departmental policies.
• Support the healthcare team with diagnostic testing and patient care activities.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in performing EEG tests on multiple patients.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Physical & Other Requirements: Ability to lift 40-50 lbs, stand and walk frequently, and perform activities such as kneeling, bending, and CPR as needed.
