Job Summary

Fahrenheit Charlotte - Rooftop is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused New American Restaurant Associate to support daily restaurant operations and deliver an enjoyable dining experience. This role involves assisting guests, supporting food and beverage service, handling orders, maintaining clean service areas, restocking supplies, and working closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist guests with seating, menu questions, and general dining requests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate special requests.
• Assist with preparing, plating, assembling, and serving menu items as needed.
• Ensure food and beverage orders are accurate, complete, and properly presented.
• Deliver orders promptly and courteously while maintaining attentive service.
• Answer basic questions about menu items and refer ingredient or allergy-related questions to appropriate staff.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and customer payments as assigned.
• Clear and reset tables to prepare dining areas for incoming guests.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Restock utensils, napkins, glassware, condiments, beverages, and other service supplies.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to support timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
• Handle food, beverages, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully.
• Communicate guest feedback, service concerns, and supply needs to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and service standards.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods to ensure efficient operations.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn menu items and established restaurant service procedures.

About Fahrenheit Charlotte - Rooftop

Fahrenheit Charlotte - Rooftop offers a dining and hospitality environment focused on food, beverages, attentive service, and guest satisfaction. The team works together to maintain quality service, organized work areas, and a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
