Duties

• Participate in structured training sessions focused on safe driving practices, load handling, and regulatory compliance under FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) guidelines.
• Ensuring proper cargo securing for transportation safety.
• Navigate using GPS systems efficiently while maintaining awareness of route conditions and delivery schedules.
• Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations related to commercial truck driving, materials handling, and safety protocols during transit.
• Gain experience in over-the-road (OTR) driving routes, managing trips while maintaining compliance with hours-of-service regulations.
• Collaborate with mentors to refine driving techniques, improve route planning skills, and ensure timely deliveries.
