What they need

Little Wonders Therapy is growing and we're looking for enthusiastic, passionate Speech Pathologists to join our supportive and dynamic team. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, family-led, evidence-based therapy to children between the ages of 0 and 18, we are proud to deliver speech pathology sessions to clients in the St George and Sutherland Shire area in our clinic in Mortdale, NSW.

Our 2027 New Graduate Speech Pathology Program is now open for applications. Be part of a workplace that values flexibility, supports your professional growth, celebrates your achievements, and rewards your hard work with team lunches and an annual retreat.

As part of our commitment to connection, collaboration and celebrating our team, all new team members will be invited to join our Annual Speech Pathology Retreat in Byron Bay, NSW, at the end of the year. It’s a chance to step away from the day-to-day, celebrate the success of the year, connect with the team, embark on some new clinical learning together, and spend some time planning about the year ahead!

The Little Wonders New Graduate Program

This is a permanent full-time (part-time will be considered) position as a speech pathologist in our clinic. This program has been designed to support you every step of the way as you embark on your journey as a Speech Pathologist at Little Wonders Therapy. Our program includes:

  • A Comprehensive Induction Program: We invest our time and resources into our therapists, and we understand that learning new processes takes time. At Little Wonders Therapy, you'll have access to a comprehensive induction program that includes in-person training, and a slow ramp up of clients to ensure you achieve success.
  • Structured Supervision and Mentoring: At Little Wonders Therapy, we believe that supervision is beneficial, regardless of your experience. Each therapist will receive structured weekly 1:1 supervision with a dedicated supervisor.
  • Low Billables and a Slow Client Ramp Up: We know that starting your career takes time! That's why we are committed to providing low billable targets and a gradual ramp up of clients to build you confidence and skills.
  • Bespoke Personal and Professional Development: At Little Wonders Therapy, we know that everyone's journey is different, so we offer bespoke and personal professional development tailored to your goals and strengths.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Conducting assessments and providing therapy for speech, language, literacy, fluency, social communication and feeding to children between the ages of 0 and 18 years
  • Collaborating with families, educators, and other allied health professionals
  • Maintaining clear, accurate and up-to-date documentation
  • Participating in non-clinical tasks such as writing blog posts, and social media content, planning our next catchup or creating clinical resources
  • Participating in regular supervision and ongoing professional development

Why Work with Little Wonders Therapy?

  • Flexible Work Options and Varied Workload: At Little Wonders Therapy, we understand the importance of getting the work-life balance right and will work with you to create a calendar that works for you. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in different clinical and non-clinical projects to keep your days varied. This could include writing blog posts, and social media content, planning our next catchup or creating clinical resources – whatever fills your cup.
  • Collaborative Environment with Family-Centred Values: Work alongside a dedicated team committed to making a positive impact on children's lives. We believe therapy should be functional, fun and family-focused – and we support our therapists with the same philosophy.
  • Career Development Pathways: As our team continues to grow, so will your career opportunities. We're committed to supporting your long-term professional growth. Whether you are looking to advance your skills clinically or operationally, we offer pathways including team leader, student educator, social media coordinator, or clinical supervisor.
  • Supportive Team Culture: We value connection and community. Enjoy regular team catchups, including lunches, dinners, coffee dates, and even a team retreat – because feeling support and celebrated matters.
  • Generous $2000 Annual Professional Development Budget: Little Wonders Therapy is committed to life-long learning and ensuring that we provide the best service to our clients. That's why we have a generous professional development allowance, plus paid professional development days, regular internal training, and full support to pursue your clinical interests.
