New Model Development Senior Lead Engineer

NEW MODEL DEVELOPMENT SR. LEAD ENGINEER

We are looking for a New Model Development Sr. Lead Engineer who will lead and oversee the development of new models from concept to mass production, ensuring that projects meet technical, quality, cost, and timeline requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage new model development projects from initial planning through.
• Make finish goods quotations based on customer request and conditions.
• In-charge in the selection of appropriate materials for new model parts, considering factors such as cost, performance and durability.
• Create initial assembly plan idea.
• Generate and updates new model production event parts preparation schedule.
• Ensure inclusion of Safety regulation and legal requirements base on 3D/2D drawing in Quality Documentation.
• Prepares PFMEA in consideration DFMEA given by customer.
• Contribute to the development POKA YOKE JIG and other measures for the improvement of new launch parts.
• Leads APQP process to ensure that new model parts meet all quality requirements.
• Conducts supplier audits to ensure that they have the necessary capabilities and processes to produce requirements for new parts.
• Make and updates New Model Development Documentations including PEZA and Customs document requirements of new products.
• Performs monthly Profit Stimulations; analyze results against targets and provide reports outlining any discrepancies.
• Prepares IPP tag and data of initial mass production parts.
• Reports the daily quality results/outputs and other related issues to NMD Supervisor and Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• With substantial experience in new model development, product development, or engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of product development processes, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing is an advantage.
• Must be willing to work on-site and follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Responsible for New Model RFQ making.
• Collaborating with purchasing and supplier in order to arrive with most practical costing for new project.
• Develop technical specification and quality documentation base on 3D/2D drawing and requirements set by customer.
• Responsible for evaluation of New Model parts and ensure event parts requirements.

Pay: Php24,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
