The role

We are seeking a talented and driven New Product Development professional to join our team at our Khan Na Yao Bangkok office on a full-time basis. In this strategic role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leading the conception, development, and commercialization of new food products that capture market opportunities and align with consumer preferences. You will work collaboratively across departments, leveraging market insights and technical expertise to transform ideas into market-ready products that strengthen our competitive position and drive business growth.

What you'll be doing

• Identify market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive gaps to inform new product concepts and development opportunities
• Lead cross-functional teams including research and development, marketing, operations, and quality assurance to guide products through the development lifecycle
• Conduct consumer research, focus groups, and sensory testing to validate product concepts and refine formulations based on feedback
• Collaborate with the research and development team to optimize product formulations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage product development timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of new products
• Conduct competitive analysis and monitor industry benchmarks to maintain product differentiation and market relevance
• Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior management and stakeholders
• Support the launch and commercialization of new products, including coordinating marketing materials, packaging, and promotional activities
• Document and maintain records of product development processes, formulations, and test results for regulatory and quality purposes

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in food science, Food Technology, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications or specializations in product development are highly valued
• 3-5 years of professional experience in new product development, ideally within the food and beverage industry
• Demonstrated experience in successfully taking products from concept through to market launch
• Strong understanding of food industry regulations, US regulations, food safety standards (HACCP, GHP, FSVP, SMETA), and compliance requirements relevant to the Thai and regional markets
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments and build productive relationships with colleagues from diverse departments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and consumer insights to inform decision-making
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with product development or project management software is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English; fluency in Thai is highly desirable
• A proactive, innovative mindset with a genuine passion for the food industry and consumer-centric product development
• Experience in conducting consumer research, sensory analysis, or focus group testing is preferred
• Knowledge of emerging food trends, nutritional requirements, and health and wellness considerations is beneficial
