New Product Development Technologist

The Role:

Good Health is looking for a New Product Development Technologist to join our NPD team. Reporting to the NPD Manager, this is a semi-senior role with varied responsibilities, working closely with every department of the company to develop new products and improve existing ones.

Some role responsibilities would include:

• Project plan and manage the NPD pipeline process while liaising with internal teams, key suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Provide accurate and timely GMP quality documentation, including formulations, specifications, NIPs, costing of proposed products, while ensuring all technical and regulatory requirements are met.
• Prototype development and management of onsite production trials for new and renovated formulations.
• Collaborate to ensure the artwork for packaging and labelling is correct and has accurate information that complies with requirements.
• Keep abreast of NZ and Export regulatory updates and provide technical support in this area.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Minimum 5 years practical experience working in a technical role in Dietary Supplements or Food.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Bilingual an advantage but not a requirement.
