New Store Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new store opening projects from site approval to grand opening.
• Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, HR, IT, and other departments to ensure store readiness.
• Develop and monitor timelines, budgets, and project milestones for store openings.
• Ensure completion of store fixtures, equipment installation, merchandising, and operational setup.
• Work closely with HR in manpower planning, recruitment, and training for new store teams.
• Conduct store readiness assessments and resolve issues before opening.
• Coordinate permits, licenses, and compliance requirements with relevant government agencies.
• Monitor opening expenses and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
• Support grand opening activities and ensure smooth transition to store operations.
• Prepare regular project status reports and updates for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve store opening processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in retail operations, project management, store development, or new store openings.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel frequently and conduct site visits.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
