About Us: We are a national nonprofit organization that trains, supports, and sustains family child care providers. Our mission to transform the nation’s child care system results in a triple win: child care providers succeed as business owners; working parents find stable, high-quality care for their children; and children gain an educational foundation that lays the groundwork for achievement.

All Our Kin serves nearly 1,100 family child care providers, who in turn educate and care for over 6,000 children from chronically under-resourced communities in Connecticut and New York City. In addition to our direct service program, we train and advise partner organizations across the country to strengthen their engagement and practice with family child care providers.

The Program Associate plays a critical support role in the planning, coordination, and execution of programmatic initiatives. This role provides operational, administrative, and logistical support to ensure programs are delivered effectively, on time, and in alignment with organizational goals and funder expectations. The Program Associate works cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders, serving as a key connector between strategy and execution.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, mission-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within program management, nonprofit operations, or social impact work.

What You Can Expect

When you join All Our Kin, you join the best community - game-changers who care passionately about creating equitable outcomes through thriving child care programs. As we scale All Our Kin’s reach, we strive to maintain the collaborative, values-centered environment that is our hallmark and to continually invest in the backbone of our organization: our talented, mission-driven team.

We know that you can only give your all when we give ours. All Our Kin is an equal-opportunity employer and recognizes that diversity and opportunity are fundamental to children’s lives and to our work. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to work with a team of skilled, motivated, and committed professionals.

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • PTO- Over four weeks of annual paid time off as well as federal holidays, a December holiday (typically December 24 – January 1), and Summer Fridays.
  • Retirement Plan- All Our Kin offers a 403(b) plan with up to 3% employer matching

Other offers great for you!
