The ideal candidate possesses a strong on-camera presence, deep awareness of national and socio-political affairs, and the ability to deliver high-impact journalism with clarity and authority.Key Responsibilities

• On-Air Presentation: Host live news bulletins, prime-time shows, and special panel discussions with confidence and poise.
• Content Research & Scripting: Research daily news developments, verify facts, and collaborate with producers to write and structure engaging teleprompter scripts or discussion points.
• Interviewing & Moderation: Conduct sharp, balanced, and fast-paced interviews with political figures, analysts, newsmakers, and subject-matter experts.
• Breaking News Handling: Stay calm and pivot swiftly during breaking news scenarios, guiding viewers accurately through unfolding events.
• Editorial Collaboration: Work closely with the assignment desk, video editors, and field reporters to shape daily news agendas.
• Digital & Social Integration: Promote broadcast segments and engage with viewers across digital and social media channels.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Political Science, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience as a News Anchor, Presenter, or Senior Reporter in a recognized television news channel.
• Language Proficiency: Exceptional command over Hindi (and/or English, depending on desk requirements), with clear diction, neutral accent, and expressive delivery.
• Knowledge Base: Strong grip on Indian politics, current affairs, social issues, and constitutional/legal frameworks.
• On-Camera Skills: Commanding screen presence, photogenic posture, quick thinking, and high stamina for live, high-pressure studio environments.
