Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and dedicated Next Gen After School Program Directors to lead engaging, safe, and enriching programs for children and youth. Duties

• Plan, organize, and execute diverse after-school activities that promote youth engagement, creativity, and learning
• Supervise program and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain a safe environment by enforcing behavior management policies and adhering to first aid protocols
• Manage classroom management strategies to foster respectful behavior and positive interactions among children
• Conduct child supervision during activities, outdoor play, snack times, and transitions to ensure safety at all times
• Implement youth development programs aligned with educational standards and community needs
• Collaborate with parents, schools, and community partners to support participant growth and address individual needs

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; camp or youth program experience is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle behavioral challenges effectively
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage children in meaningful activities
• Experience facilitating youth group activities or teaching young children in outdoor or indoor settings
• Excellent communication skills for working with children, parents, staff, and community partners

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
