POSITION SUMMARY

The Next Gen Pastor oversees Revival Church’s Youth and Young Adults Ministries, helping middle and high school students and young adults encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and build meaningful community.

As a growing church plant, this role requires a builder’s mindset—someone passionate about developing ministries, raising leaders, recruiting volunteers, and creating environments where the next generation can thrive.

This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Ministry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Vision & Leadership

• Develop and communicate the vision for Youth and Young Adults Ministries.
• Build engaging, Spirit-led environments for discipleship and community.
• Create ministry systems and strategies for sustainable growth.

Ministry Oversight

• Oversee weekly services, small groups, and ministry programming.
• Plan special events, retreats, and outreach opportunities.
• Develop discipleship pathways that help students and young adults grow in faith.

Leadership Development

• Recruit, train, and develop volunteer teams.
• Mentor emerging leaders and build a strong ministry culture.

Pastoral Care

• Build relationships with students, young adults, and families.
• Provide spiritual guidance, prayer, and discipleship.
• Help individuals take their next steps in following Jesus.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Passion for reaching and discipling the next generation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience developing teams and volunteers.
• Agreement with Revival Church’s charismatic, nondenominational beliefs and culture.
• Previous ministry leadership experience preferred.
