About The Role
At the moment we offer a Golden Hello bonus for Pathways Trained CAs.
We are particularly interested in hearing from fully qualified Pathways Advisors who have successfully completed Core Module 1 and Clinical Modules 1 & 2, are up to date with all mandatory training requirements, and are PACCs trained.
Here at Practice Plus Group, we have an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Advisor and build on your Nursing or Paramedic experience and continue to deliver outstanding patient care – without the physical demand of acute work.
To be considered for future homeworking opportunities, advisors must demonstrate a minimum of six months' performance with acceptable audit scores, good attendance in line with policy, no live formal disciplinary or capability management processes, and achievement of a minimum productivity of 3.8 cases per hour (CPH). All homeworkers are expected to maintain this productivity standard, and homeworking eligibility may be reviewed or withdrawn in line with the Homeworking SOP where required. You will be expected to attend your local site regularly with a minimum requirement of
24 hours per month as we need Clinicians on site to support the Health Advisors when needed.
Join a supportive and dynamic team where you'll receive ongoing development opportunities, regular support, and the chance to make a real difference to patients every day.
You`ll receive:
- Pay: **£**24.47 per hour (7am-11pm) and **£**27.83 per hour (11pm-7am), with further pay enhancements of **£**30.60 per hour when working between Friday 18:00 to Monday 7:00am. Please note that the weekend rate is guaranteed but it is not contractual, it is just an incentive for working unsociable hours
- Any training hours will be paid at **£**24.47 per hour
- 25 days’ annual leave, increasing with service up to 28 days per year + bank holidays.
- Guaranteed regular breaks
- Practice Plus Group benefits including company pension scheme, life assurance, cycle to work scheme, retail discounts, and an employee assistance programme for you and your family.
What you'll be doing
What your typical day looks like
- You will be required to speak with patients and providing them with telephone triage using the NHS Pathways systems.
- Use of your clinical knowledge will be key in order to make decisions on the most appropriate action to take as well as homecare advice to callers.
- In 111 we get calls about anything and everything, hence no two-days will be the same. However, you will receive a lot of support from the software systems.
- We offer set shift patterns so you
ll always know when youll be working
Youll be trained on NHS Pathways systems, a recognisable licence that youll receive on completion of training.
Schedule:
Full-Time: Monday-Friday (9:30am-5pm) for 4 weeks + 1 additional day to complete internal training on LMS
- It is essential that you attend training every day.
- You will undergo assessments and call audits throughout training. Passing these is essential to continue with the role. Failure to pass on your second attempt will result in no longer being able to continue with the role.
- After training, you will receive ongoing support to ensure you’re ready to be signed off as a fully accredited Pathways Health Advisor.
