NICU In-Charge – Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the NICU and ensure quality neonatal care.
• Supervise nursing staff, duty rosters, attendance, and performance.
• Coordinate with neonatologists and other healthcare teams for patient care.
• Ensure compliance with medication, documentation, infection-control, and safety protocols.
• Monitor NICU equipment, medicines, and consumable stock.
• Handle emergencies and ensure timely escalation of critical cases.
• Conduct staff training and maintain departmental records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital and NABH standards.

Qualification: B.Sc Nursing / GNM with valid Nursing Council registration.
Experience: 3–5 years of NICU experience; supervisory experience preferred.
Skills: Leadership, neonatal care, communication, teamwork, emergency management, and infection control.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
