Night Auditor

Job Summary

Perform the night audit operations to ensure the maintenance of financial controls, and compliance with hotel standards. Coordinate with other departments ( i.e. Security, Housekeeping) to ensure the quality service is provided to all guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight shifts with professionalism and warmth.
• Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests with efficiency and courtesy.
• Handle multi-line phone systems to respond to guest inquiries, reservations, and internal communications promptly.
• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and reporting for the hotel’s accounting records.
• Address guest concerns with a positive attitude, providing exceptional customer service to enhance their stay.
• Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and ensure all guest information is accurately documented.
• Prepare daily Restaurant Revenue Report data by auditing Point of Service tapes/journals to breakdown revenue, covers, waiters' fees, tips paid out and settlements by type and cashier.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly, maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs effectively.
• Knowledge of night audit procedures and hotel systems preferred.
• Phone etiquette and familiarity with multi-line phone systems required.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
