Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA and other hotel reservation platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments with professionalism and efficiency.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems and in person, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues with problem-solving skills.
• Monitor hotel security by performing CCTV surveillance, conducting safety inspections, and following emergency procedures to ensure guest and staff safety.
• Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit summaries to maintain accurate records for management review.
• Handle guest requests with a friendly attitude, offering concierge services such as local information or special accommodations to enhance their stay.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any issues that may arise during the night shift promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, with familiarity using property management systems like OPERA or similar platforms.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, phone etiquette, and effective communication across diverse audiences; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, safety protocols, and security measures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle guest complaints efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
• Experience working with multi-line phone systems and property management software in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Resort experience or familiarity with hospitality reservation systems enhances your ability to deliver top-tier service.
