Night Auditor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth overnight operation of the hotel, including financial reconciliation, guest services, and maintaining the security of the property. Duties

• Perform nightly financial audits, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports for management
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy
• Respond promptly to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain front desk operations, including managing multi-line phone systems and booking reservations
• Ensure security of the hotel premises by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular patrols
• Update and maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and reporting as needed
• Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and guest privacy

Skills

• Strong background in hospitality management or hotel operations
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to assist diverse guests effectively
• Experience with front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette
• Knowledge of hotel management software and night audit procedures (Night audit experience is a plus)
• Exceptional guest relations skills to foster positive experiences during overnight stays
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment during night shifts
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective guest interaction and reporting
