Night Auditor

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This vital role ensures the smooth operation of overnight front desk activities, maintains security protocols, and provides exceptional guest services during the night shift. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving late or checking out early, handling administrative tasks, and safeguarding the property. Your energetic approach and hospitality expertise will contribute to a welcoming environment that leaves a lasting positive impression on our guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight hours with professionalism and warmth
• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, reservations, and billing records to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette
• Maintain security by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting patrols, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed
• Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues efficiently, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
• Complete detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure seamless communication between shifts
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs or property concerns promptly

Experience

• Previous hotel experience or background in hospitality is highly preferred
• Strong multilingual or bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests
• Excellent guest services skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Knowledge of hotel management systems and reservation software is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to handle phone etiquette professionally in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in security procedures or CCTV monitoring is advantageous
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high attention to detail

Pay: £14.10 per hour
