Night Auditor

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests during late hours with professionalism, warmth, and excellent phone etiquette.
• Manage front desk operations including check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and billing using property management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms.
• Conduct nightly audits to reconcile accounts, update reservation records, and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct visual inspections to uphold safety standards across the property.
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly with customer service problem-solving skills, and communicate effectively with multilingual or bilingual guests.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures swiftly and accurately in case of incidents or safety concerns.
• Prepare detailed shift reports documenting activities, incidents, and any irregularities for management review.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS).
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and client communication.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest and staff security during night shifts.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse clientele effectively.
• Experience with night audit processes, hotel management tasks, and resort operations is desirable.
• Excellent phone communication skills coupled with hospitality industry experience to handle guest requests professionally.
