Night Auditor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at a premier hotel or resort. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during the overnight shift, providing exceptional guest services while performing essential accounting and administrative tasks. Responsibilities

• Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs during the night shift.
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and prepare reports for management review.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that all areas of the hotel are well-maintained and ready for guests.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and prepare daily financial summaries.
• Assist guests with special requests or needs, demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management is preferred.
• Strong front desk experience with knowledge of night audit processes is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
• Proficient in using hotel management software and basic accounting principles.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while remaining attentive to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• A positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
