Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at a premier hotel property. In this vital role, you will oversee overnight front desk operations, ensure accurate financial reporting through the night audit process, and deliver outstanding guest services during nighttime hours. Your energetic approach will help maintain smooth hotel operations while providing a welcoming environment for our guests.

Duties

• Conduct the nightly audit process to reconcile all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA.
• Manage late-night front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues with excellent customer service problem-solving skills.
• Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting safety checks, and following hotel emergency procedures.
• Handle multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, providing information and assistance to guests and staff.
• Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries for management review.
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns efficiently and ensuring a positive guest experience throughout the night.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and problem-solving capabilities.
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests effectively.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is essential.
• Experience working with multi-line phone systems and resort environments is a plus.
