Night Auditor

Job Summary

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact during nighttime hours, you will manage front desk activities, handle guest inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help uphold our commitment to hospitality excellence while ensuring safety and operational efficiency throughout the night shift.

Duties

• Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and any special requests using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or similar property management systems (PMS)
• Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, including billing, payments, and account adjustments to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including answering phone calls with professional phone etiquette and providing excellent customer service
• Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and deliver personalized guest services to enhance guest relations and satisfaction
• Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance, perform property inspections, and follow hotel emergency procedures to maintain safety standards
• Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation for management review
• Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs and operational concerns efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably with resort or hotel experience involving night audit duties
• Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or comparable property management systems (PMS)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations better
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is essential for maintaining a secure environment
• Excellent phone communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette
• Previous experience in guest relations, night audit functions, or hotel management roles is preferred
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality and attention to detail
