Night Auditor

Hilton Garden Inn Knoxville Papermill Drive is looking for a dependable, guest-focused Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team.

The Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service throughout the overnight shift while completing the hotel’s daily financial and operational close. This position is a great fit for someone who is reliable, comfortable working independently, detail-oriented, and able to stay calm when the unexpected happens.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests and complete check-ins and check-outs
• Assist guests with questions, requests, and concerns throughout the overnight shift
• Answer hotel phone calls and provide accurate property and local information
• Complete the hotel’s nightly audit and end-of-day procedures
• Review guest accounts, payments, postings, and reports for accuracy
• Prepare and distribute required daily reports
• Make reservations and assist with reservation changes when needed
• Monitor hotel activity and help maintain a safe, secure environment overnight
• Communicate important overnight activity to the morning Front Desk and leadership teams
• Handle guest concerns professionally and use good judgment when resolving issues
• Complete additional Front Desk tasks and light operational duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Ability to work overnight shifts consistently
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Comfortable using computers and learning hotel systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Professional, calm, and friendly demeanor
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities during both busy and quiet periods
• Previous hotel, Front Desk, Night Audit, or customer service experience is preferred
• Previous Hilton and/or PEP experience is a plus, but not required

Schedule

This is an overnight position, working 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

Applicants must have dependable transportation and reliable availability for scheduled overnight shifts. Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on hotel needs.
