Night Auditor

Job Summary

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will be the vital link between guest services and hotel operations during overnight hours. This energetic role offers the opportunity to ensure seamless guest experiences, uphold hotel standards, and maintain operational excellence while working the night shift. As a Night Auditor, you'll be responsible for managing front desk activities, reconciling daily financial transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests in a lively and fast-paced environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create memorable stays and uphold the reputation of our hotel.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures using property management systems (PMS) such as Choice Advantage or similar platforms.
• Handle guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems, providing accurate information and resolving issues promptly with excellent phone etiquette.
• Conduct nightly audits by reconciling accounts, verifying reservations, and preparing financial reports to ensure accuracy for the next day’s operations.
• Maintain guest relations by addressing concerns, offering solutions, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay.
• Update and complete shift reports, incident logs, and other documentation to ensure smooth communication between shifts.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, guest billing, and property management system (PMS) updates in a multilingual environment if applicable.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel management software such as Choice Advantage or other property management systems (PMS) is essential.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing client communication across diverse guest populations.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services standards, and resort operations will contribute to success in this role.
• Experience working with multi-line phone systems and handling guest relations during night shifts is advantageous.

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
