Night Care Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting others and ensuring their well-being.

Duties

• Assist residents with daily tasks such as personal care, dressing, and eating
• Support in the implementation of care plans
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
• Help residents engage in recreational activities
• Maintain a clean and organised living environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in care home or home care settings is desirable
• Ability to use basic IT systems for record keeping
• Strong communication skills in English
• Compassionate nature and willingness to provide high-quality care

Own transport desirable

Shift Pattern: 18.45pm to 7:00am.

The role involves working four night shifts one week and three night shifts the following week, with every other weekend included in the working rota.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00 per hour
