Night Care Worker

Duties

• Monitor the safety and well-being of children or vulnerable individuals throughout the night shift
• Follow and update personalized care plans to meet individual needs effectively
• Assist with bedtime routines, including preparing beds and providing comfort as needed
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or unexpected situations with calmness and professionalism
• Maintain clear communication with daytime staff regarding any incidents or important observations
• Ensure the environment remains clean, safe, and conducive to restful sleep
• Use IT systems to document overnight activities, incidents, and care provided accurately

Requirements

• Experience working with children or vulnerable individuals in a caregiving setting
• Ability to drive safely if required for emergency or transportation purposes
• Strong childcare skills, including patience, empathy, and active listening
• Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members, families, and emergency services if needed
• Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
• Flexibility to work overnight hours consistently and reliably
