Night Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in a public business setting. This role requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work independently and excellent communication.

We are looking to hire an energetic, self-motivated, reliable & honest person to clean for a reputable business in Charles City. This person will work 5 evenings/nights a week, Sunday - Thursday averaging 5-7 hours/shift (Sunday cleaning can be done day or evening). Commercial cleaning experience is a plus but we will train the right person.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Cleaning of restrooms and ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
• Cleaning of windows/glass and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance.
• Empty trash.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but will train the right person.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment.
• Knowledge or previous experience with a floor scrubber is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good physical stamina.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
