Night Custodian

Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This is an important position that ensures a safe and sanitary environment for employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is necessary
• Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing
• Assist with setting up and breaking down rooms for meetings or events
• Follow established safety protocols and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to custodial duties

Experience:

• Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
• Knowledge of custodial practices, techniques, and equipment operation
• Familiarity with floor care procedures such as buffing, waxing, and stripping
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
