Night Dispatcher

Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM

• Coordinate daily milk pickups from dairy farms
• Communicate with farms, drivers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Dispatch drivers and track loads throughout the shift
• Monitor milk supply and demand and make necessary adjustments to delivery schedules
• Maintain accurate delivery and customer order records
• Monitor milk sample temperatures
• Resolve delivery issues, delays, and other conflicts in a timely manner
• Ensure safe milk-handling practices
• Follow federal and state regulations related to dairy production and transportation
• Assist with improving dispatch processes and operational efficiency
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of dispatch or logistics experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Google Docs and transportation management software; PCS experience is a plus
• Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations
• Must obtain and maintain a milk handler certification
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and after-hours as needed

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for extended periods and perform physical activities including bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Wage Range: 15.00 - 20.00 per hour
