We are a tech company. We’re looking for independent contractors to do evening field research at residential properties around Houston. You’ll visit properties after 9 PM, note what you see on site, and submit a short report from your phone after each visit.

You set your own schedule. You choose which nights to work, which properties to visit, and how many to take on. There are no minimum hours and no shifts.

What you’ll do

• Visit assigned residential properties in the evening, staying in areas open to the public
• Observe and note specific on-site details using a checklist we provide
• Have brief, friendly conversations with on-site staff when they’re open to it
• Submit a short report through a mobile form within 24 hours of each visit
• Invoice every two weeks for completed visits

What we’re looking for

• 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation and a smartphone with a data plan
• Comfortable working on your own at night in unfamiliar neighborhoods
• Observant and detail-oriented, with honest and accurate reporting
• Professional and easy to talk to, able to stay calm and courteous
• Discreet: this work involves confidential company information
• Willing to complete a background check
