Team members work in a central city location with a steady mix of local and international guests.

Role Description The Night Manager - Part Time is responsible for overseeing hotel operations during the night shift in an on-site role. This role includes supervising front desk activities, managing check-ins and check-outs, and providing courteous, efficient service to guests throughout the night. The Night Manager handles late-night guest inquiries, resolves issues, and ensures the safety and security of the property and guests. Duties include monitoring common areas, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance as required, balancing daily accounts, and preparing reports for the morning management team. The role also involves ensuring that hotel policies are followed, maintaining a professional atmosphere, and supporting a smooth transition between night and day operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or hospitality operations, ideally in a front office or night audit role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest issues calmly and professionally.
• Basic administrative and cash-handling skills, including familiarity with reservation systems and night auditing processes.
• Ability to work independently overnight, prioritize tasks, and maintain a safe, secure environment for guests and team members.
• Working rights in Australia and fluency in English are required.
