Night Porter - Part Time

We are looking for a reliable, friendly and professional Part-Time Night Porter to join our hotel team. The Night Porter is responsible for ensuring the safety, security and smooth running of the hotel during the night, while providing a welcoming and helpful service to our guests.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, have excellent attention to detail and be able to remain calm and professional when dealing with guests or unexpected situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests arriving or departing during the night.
• Carry out late-night check-ins and early-morning check-outs.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests professionally.
• Monitor hotel security, including regular checks of public areas and entrances.
• Complete regular fire, health and safety checks as required.
• Handle emergency situations in accordance with hotel procedures.
• Answer the telephone and deal with guest enquiries.
• Prepare reports and handover information for the morning team.
• Carry out basic cleaning and tidying of public areas
• Assist with setting up functions, breakfast areas or preparing for the morning operation.
• Ensure the hotel is secure and presentable throughout the night.
• Report maintenance issues, incidents or concerns to the appropriate manager.
• Follow all hotel policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the smooth running of the hotel.
