Night Program Staff Member

Overview
Horizons After School Program is hiring three dependable Program Assistants for our expanded evening childcare program serving children ages 3–12.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 5:00–10:30 p.m.
• Approximately 27.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise children.
• Lead age-appropriate games, activities and homework time.
• Assist with meals, evening routines and rest periods.
• Maintain attendance and authorized-pickup procedures.
• Clean and sanitize program areas.
• Follow staff-to-child ratios, safety procedures and ECECD regulations.
• Communicate professionally with children, families and coworkers.
• Assist the Program Manager with closing duties.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Childcare or education experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable and available for the entire evening shift.
• Must pass the required background check.
• Must complete required ECECD training and obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Must be able to remain attentive, awake and actively engaged throughout the shift.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
