We are seeking experienced and hardworking Night Public Area Cleaners to join our team.  Full-time and Part-time positions available.

The successful candidate will be tasked to:

• General housekeeping and cleaning of public areas of the hotel such as hotel lobby, lift, stairways, public toilets, etc.
• Servicing and cleaning allocated guest rooms
• Undertake special cleaning projects as directed
• Ensure housekeeping departmental policies, procedures, and standards are followed
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist room attendants and other housemen to ensure guest rooms are prepared efficiently
• Maintain inventory in all the housekeeping storage area
• Respond timely to guests’ special request for miscellaneous items e.g. cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
• Collect dirty linen, garbage and recyclables from Room Attendants’ carts and closets
• Follow departmental policies and procedures
• Report necessary maintenance items
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Other duties as reasonably requested

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong eye for detail
• Passion to deliver exceptional customer service
• Be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous work experience as Room Attendant and Public Area Cleaner
• Have knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements, cleaning chemicals, and WHS procedures
• Be flexible and available for work across a 7-day roster including public holidays, as required, on an evening shift.
