Night Recovery Driver (Class 2)

Boarhunt Garage & Recovery Services is looking for an experienced and reliable Night Recovery Driver to join our team in Fareham.

You will work as part of our night recovery team, responding to vehicle breakdowns and recovery jobs while providing a professional and helpful service to our customers.

Job Pay

• £13.50 per hour
• Additional £27.50 allowance for each night shift worked

Working Hours

• 10-hour night shifts between 17:00 and 05:00
• Rota-based shift pattern
• Working alongside other recovery operatives

Responsibilities

• Attend vehicle breakdowns and recovery jobs safely and efficiently
• Recover and transport vehicles using the appropriate equipment
• Carry out routine vehicle and equipment safety checks
• Complete the required job records and paperwork accurately
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and control staff
• Follow all company procedures, road safety requirements and industry regulations

Requirements

• Class 2 (Category C) driving licence – essential
• Valid Driver CPC – essential
• Class 1 (C+E) driving licence – desirable
• Previous vehicle recovery experience – desirable
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, professional and able to work confidently at night
• Able to work effectively as part of a rota-based team

Police vetting is required for this position. Employment will be subject to the successful completion of the relevant vetting process.
