Atlas Pacific Security is looking for dependable, professional Security Officers to join our team providing overnight security services in the Greater Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA areas.

If you prefer an active security assignment over sitting at a desk all night, this may be a great fit.

This position involves driving a security vehicle throughout large commercial parks and apartment complexes, conducting randomized vehicle and foot patrols, checking buildings and property, documenting unusual activity, and serving as a professional security presence throughout the overnight hours.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Night Security Officer, your primary responsibility is simple:

Observe. Prevent. Document. Report.

You will conduct continuous and randomized patrols throughout your assigned district, looking for anything unusual or out of place.

Your duties will include:

• Conducting regular vehicle and foot patrols throughout properties.
• Checking building exteriors for unsecured doors/windows, broken glass, vandalism, damage, and other concerns.
• Monitoring parking lots, truck yards, loading areas, storage areas, fencing, railcars, and other property.
• Checking gates and access points to ensure they remain secure.
• Identifying and documenting suspicious or unauthorized persons and vehicles.
• Reporting improperly parked, abandoned, disabled, or unusual vehicles.
• Observing for property damage, leaks, spills, lighting problems, and other maintenance or safety concerns.
• Responding appropriately to alarms and emergency situations.
• Contacting law enforcement, fire/EMS, or property management when circumstances require.
• Completing detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Taking photographs when appropriate to document conditions or incidents.
• Maintaining communication with property management and Atlas Pacific Security management and other staff.
• Writing detailed and comprehensive reports.
• Other tasks assigned.
