Night Security Guard

iHotel Red Deer is looking for individual with integrity and good intuition to join our hotel security. What would make you a great fit with our hotel:

Self motivated and comfortable to take initiative in resolving issues based on hotel guidelines provided

Can assess situations quickly and carefully and is sensitive when dealing with clients and guests.

Enjoy working in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision

You are confident with your judgment and can clearly convey your daily efforts in writing

Comfortable and flexible to work shifts of 11 pm to 7 am evening/nights/weekends - 5 days a week

Able to follow instructions from the General Manager and/or other duties as required or assigned

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a regular presence and active watch inside the hotel as well as the entire property. Must have Security background and security knowledge

Performs Door duty and crowd control during special events and functions

Becomes familiar with and performs emergency procedures, First aid as it may be needed onsite

Job Requirements:

-Previous security experience and training and experience is considered an asset

Minimum occupational first aid level 2

Ability to carry up to 35 lbs and able to walk up to 8 hours for the whole shift

Preparation of daily security reports at the end of every shift.

Ability to kneel, bend and stand/walk for extended period of time

Attention to Detail and ability to apply during patrolling and surveillance

-High school/GED. Must have first aid

Ability to speak English clearly and articulate clearly with our guests and employees

Full time and able to complete tasks as assigned by General Manager
