Night shift

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Night Shift team member to join our food service operation. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently during evening hours. The Night Shift position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while ensuring high standards of food safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction. Candidates should be comfortable handling food, operating POS systems, and managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Operate Micros POS system for order processing, payments, and transactions
• Handle cashiering duties including cash handling and providing accurate change
• Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and service areas during the shift
• Assist with upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
• Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
• Follow all safety protocols related to food preparation and kitchen operations

Skills

• Food preparation experience preferred; knowledge of food safety regulations is essential
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during evening hours
• Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Cashiering experience including cash handling accuracy
• Knowledge of sanitation practices within the food industry
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory management
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in food handling, serving, or kitchen operations is advantageous
