Summary Description: The Ext Grinder is responsible for supporting the production environment by managing scrap generated by both the Extrusion and Thermoforming departments. This role requires strong attention to safety, quality, and productivity—core values of the TOPPAN culture. The Ext Grinder works collaboratively within the operations team and reports directly to the Supervisor.

Hours: 6:45am-7:00pm or 6:45pm-7:00am, 4 days on / 4 days off

Location: Plant City, FL

Rate: $19.88/hr. + $ .50 shift differential

What you’ll be doing:

• Manage all scrap produced by the Extrusion and Thermoforming departments.
• Ensure scrap is placed directly into scrap trailers and kept off the warehouse floor.
• Communicate and coordinate with the shipping department to schedule scrap and roll trucks.
• Maintain effective communication across teams to support operational needs.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to follow strict PPE requirements, including face shields, earmuffs, gloves, and steel‑toe boots.
• Forklift and clamp truck driving experience (on‑site certification will be provided).
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
