Great opportunity to earn between £29,000 - £32,000 as a Production Operator on a permanent Night Shift

We provide design, tooling and plastic injection moulding services to blue chip B2B clients in the hi-tech sector. Small but successful and with big ambitions, we’re looking to recruit Production Operators to join our permanent Night Shift to help deliver future growth.

• About the Role. Reporting to a Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for undertaking injection moulding operations work including:
• Material preparation, operating plastic injection moulding machines, inspection and sorting components, packaging
• Undertaking assembly and final quality inspection of parts; trimming, drilling, inserting using assembly jigs/fixtures
• Undertaking re-grind work, ensuring sprues and materials are reground and bagged correctly
• Carrying out machine safety checks, keeping machines operational and keeping the production facility tidy

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

• Who we are looking for. The successful candidate will:
• Have the ability to learn quickly, to absorb new skills and to operate as part of a team on a permanent Night Shift (Mon - Sat 2145 - 0600)
• Have a good eye for detail, able to perform repetitive tasks to a high standard with the ability to see when something is different
• Be fit and able to cope with the physical demands of working in a manufacturing environment, adhering to health and safety standards
• Possess good numeracy, English language and writing skills
• Be a team player, sharing the company’s values, being friendly, fun, hard-working and honest
